To mark the launch of We Perform It - the new online rehearsal and recording platform for actors, we are running a competition for the best short audio play performed and created using the platform; with a cash prize of £1000.
It is a great opportunity for actors across the world, of any age and experience to showcase their acting talents to our community and a panel of expert judges.
Our judging panel of acclaimed Directors, Scriptwriters, Theatre Reviewers and Producers will decide which performance is best.
At We Perform It we want to inspire actors of any age and to provide well-deserved recognition to contestants. The contest is open to anyone in the UK of any age or experience. Entries must be performed in English. You can choose any script or use one of ours. The way you perform is your chance to get creative. We are open to all styles of performance – drama, tragedy, comedy…you choose.
To register, email We Perform It ([email protected]) with your name and any organisation name.
Submitting your performance couldn't be easier! Once you’ve registered you just need to go on to We Perform It and rehearse, record and mix your performance. We will take it from there (we have easy to follow explainer videos on the site if you need help).
The competition runs from February 1st to March 31st 2022. Submissions received after this time will not be accepted.
The competition will be judged on the following criteria.
The Judging Panel will select one prize winner.
